Aubameyang out in the cold
Stripped of the Arsenal captaincy.
Training on his own. It has been one hell of a fall from grace for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the last fortnight, coinciding with an upturn in the Gunners form that has seen them win three games on the bounce.
After a disciplinary breach, allegedly returning from France a day late, the future looks bleak for the Gabon star, with no indication that he will be reintegrated into the first team any time soon.
Arsenal announced that following his latest disciplinary breach last week, Pierre Aubameyang will no longer be club captain. 🚫 #AFC
Arsenal are already planning to sign a new striker for 2022 – probably in the summer.
To be clear: there are no talks with Vlahović/agents. pic.twitter.com/0wcKuhJl77

Due to jet off to the Africa Cup of Nations next week, Arsenal fans may not see the man who almost singlehandedly won them the FA cup back in red and white until at least February, if at all.
But with 18 months left on his contract, which he signed after that FA Cup win, and seemingly no future left under Mikel Arteta, he could represent a burning hole in the Arsenal pocket.
Is Aubameyang Milan bound?
Or, will he depart?
Some Arsenal fans believe that a member of his close family, Willy Aubameyang, has already hinted at his next destination.
The club in question? Italian giants AC Milan.
Willy took to Instagram to post a picture of the iconic San Siro stadium, with the caption “My Stadium. See you soon San Siro” followed by a wink, prompting speculation that the side currently 3rd in Serie A could be his brother’s next landing spot.

Would this make sense for all parties? Or is it simply a red herring?
