Leeds and Liverpool are set to face off on Sunday afternoon.

The tie comes with the two sides in very contrasting form of late.

Leeds will kick off the clash searching for their first Premier League win of the 2021/22 campaign, whilst Liverpool are looking to continue their unbeaten start to the campaign.

The Reds won their opening two bouts of the season before then being held to a 1-1 draw by a 10-man Chelsea side in their final clash before the international break.

As a result, though Leeds will likely fancy their chances of getting something from the game, Liverpool are probably the favourites.

Harvey Elliott sets Liverpool record

Ahead of the match, Liverpool would of course release their starting line-up an hour before kick-off.

Liverpool’s XI was pretty standard, with Diogo Jota in up top in place of the injured Roberto Firmino.

One of the more surprising omissions from the starting eleven on Sunday was Jordan Henderson.

The Liverpool skipper was on the bench, with Jurgen Klopp instead starting a midfield trio of Thiago, Fabinho and Harvey Elliott.

Now, on the back of being handed a start vs Leeds, Harvey Elliott has set a Liverpool record.

As per Opta’s Michael Reid, Harvey Elliott (18y 161d) is the youngest midfield player ever to start three consecutive league games for Liverpool:
