HarmonyOS 3 now installs on Huawei Watch 3 and GT3 watches

Huawei’s current top-of-the-line smartwatches, namely the Watch 3, 3 Pro, GT 3, GT 3 Pro, and GT Runner, are now receiving the latest HarmonyOS 3 update globally. The new operating system brings some new features and optimizations under the hood. Supposedly, smoother operation and even longer battery life.

Perhaps the most notable change we’ve noticed is the new notification management. Notifications are better displayed and quick replies are available in some apps.

Previously exclusive to China, Huawei is now making the respiratory health app available globally. It takes into account various health indicators, including body temperature and respiratory rate, to try to indicate any issues you may have.

Custom watch faces to fit your daily wear are now available with a Kaleidoscope face style with a custom image on the watch face. An updated flashlight app lets you choose different colors to light up your screen instead of the standard white.

The update has been going for about a week now, with more and more units getting the notification. It should soon reach all units in the world.
