Gurman: Apple launches mixed reality set ahead of WWDC ’23 in June

Apple should launch its mixed reality headset this spring, confirms Mark Gurman in his To light up podcast for Bloomberg. The pundit said Cupertino is on track with an announcement ahead of WWDC, which usually takes place in June.
Such a timeline would mean the AR/VR wearable still launches no earlier than Fall 2023, which may or may not coincide with the launch of the new iPhone.

Apple is already developing an operating system called xrOS, and a number of “high-level software developers” have early access to bring the first wave of third-party apps.
The product will likely be called Apple Reality Pro and will initially be released to businesses, developers, and power users.
