Google hasn’t officially confirmed the Google Pixel Fold, however, there have been plenty of leaks. The tech giant is expected to unveil its first foldable in May during Google I/O. Now another leak sheds light on the Pixel Fold’s price, availability and specs, leaving nothing to the imagination. The Pixel Fold is set to go on sale from May 30 in Chalk and Obsidian color options. Like the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, the next model could also pack a Tensor G2 SoC under the hood. Additionally, a live video of the handset has surfaced online offering a look at the foldable’s design ahead of its rumored debut in May.

Front Page Tech’s Jon Prosser has shared US pricing and full specs for the Google Pixel Fold via a YouTube video. According to the tipster, the Pixel Fold will cost $1,799 (around Rs. 1,47,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and $1,919 (around Rs. 1,57,500) for the 12GB RAM storage variant. +512GB. It is said to come in chalk and obsidian tones.

The Google Pixel Fold would be available for pre-order from May 10 via Google Store with a tentative shipping date of June 27. Pixel Watch for customers who pre-order the foldable.

Separately, tipster Kuba Wojciechowski (@Za_Raczke) leak a hands-on video of the Pixel Fold. Other than the cover screen and the larger internal screen with thick bezels, the video shows no other features.

Google Pixel Fold specs

The Pixel Fold features a 7.6-inch (1,840 x 2,208 pixel) internal display with a 6:5 aspect ratio, 380ppi pixel density and 120Hz refresh rate. It could house a 5.8-inch (1080 x 2092 pixel) OLED outdoor display with an aspect ratio of 17.4:9 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. plastic coating. It is expected to be powered by Google’s Tensor G2 SoC, paired with a Titan M2 security chip and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

For optics, Pixel Fold is said to carry a triple rear camera, comprising a main 48-megapixel wide-angle lens with OIS, CLAF and an f/1.7 aperture. The camera setup could also include a 10.8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 121-degree FoV and f/2.2 aperture and a 10.8-megapixel dual PD telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and Super Res 20x zoom.

For selfies, it’s said to pack a 9.5-megapixel sensor with a pixel width of 1.22pm, f/2.2 aperture and fixed focus. It is expected to have an internal 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and fixed focus.

The Pixel Fold is supposed to come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and could also support face unlock feature. Jon Prosser didn’t specify the foldable’s battery capacity, although the battery offers over 24 hours of playtime and up to 72 hours of standby time. It could measure 5.5 mm x 3.1 mm x 0.5 and weigh 283 grams.
