“Get Werner out of the club”- Chelsea fans react to comment made at open training
Chelsea host open training
Ahead of their weekend clash with Arsenal, Chelsea hosted an open training session at Stamford Bridge. The session allowed fans to get their first glimpse of new record signing Romelu Lukaku, as well as watch their side’s training routines under German Thomas Tuchel.

The club also paraded the Champions League trophy to the Stamford Bridge faithful.
Fans would have been worried, however, at the absentees, which included key duo N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic, while Hakim Ziyech is also recovering from an injury sustained in the Super Cup victory.
“Get Werner out of the club”
The joyous and relaxed atmosphere, however, was spoiled late in the session by one so-called “fan”, who was handed the microphone.
Clearly keen to make the most of his exposure, he proceeded to say:
“Listen I got a word yeah, let’s have it right. Get Werner out the club”

“ Get Werner out “ down the microphone from a Chelsea fan at the training session.
I’m not a fan of Werner and I wouldn’t mind if he leaves next summer but saying that in front of him? Embarrassing.
Our players want the same objective as the fans, Trophies, how does this help?

Werner could’ve just as easily gone to Liverpool. Took a risk and made his move in the middle of a pandemic without his family.
The fact someone felt the need to say that today really does boggle the mind.

While Werner has had a tricky start to life in England, could the addition of Romelu Lukaku help him get back to his Bundesliga best?
