Fresh concern for Barcelona: Sergio Aguero ‘very angry’ with Messi situation
Word stemming from South America on Friday evening has provided an insight into the mindset of Sergio Aguero, on the back of Lionel Messi’s Barcelona exit.
The name of Argentine international Messi has of course taken centre stage in the media over the last 24 hours.
This comes on the back of the bombshell announcement that, following two decades with the club, the 34-year-old will be bringing a permanent end to his Barcelona stint this summer.
Just hours after it had been widely reported that a contract agreement between the two parties was close, the Blaugrana released a statement, admitting that they had essentially been left with no choice but to part with the club’s greatest-ever player.
The finger of blame, in turn, was pointed squarely in the direction of La Liga, amid claims that the Spanish football authorities had laid ‘financial and structural obstacles’ in the path of the board at the Camp Nou this summer:

Barca, already in dire straits financially, have as a result been left to pick up the pieces, ahead of what could prove to be one of the most difficult stretches in the club’s recent history.
The Catalan outfit’s board, and fans aside, though, what have the rest of Ronald Koeman’s star-studded squad made of the shock news regarding Messi’s exit?
Several have taken to Instagram, to post heartfelt messages of farewell to their long-time teammate:

One Blaugrana star, though, seemingly far from ready to face up to the harsh reality of one of the greatest players in football history departing the Camp Nou is Sergio Aguero.
Argentine hitman Aguero of course only made the move to Catalunya earlier this summer, following the expiration of his contract with Manchester City.
The presence of compatriot and close friend Messi at Barca, meanwhile, was understood to have played a key role in convincing the veteran of the merits of a return to La Liga.
Upon news surfacing of the Blaugrana’s long-time talisman moving on, it was therefore always likely that Aguero would be left somewhat disillusioned.
And, on Friday evening, an insight into precisely this has been forthcoming.
As reported on TNT Sports Argentina, the ex-Atletico Madrid hitman is ‘very angry’ with the situation, amid suggestions that Aguero could even attempt to manoeuvre a swift departure from Catalunya.
