An update on several Leeds United players has emerged ahead of their meeting with Norwich on Sunday.
Norwich vs Leeds
Leeds United face a trip to Norwich on Sunday afternoon, kicking off at Carrow Road at 2 pm UK time.
It is fair to say that Marcelo Bielsa’s side head into the game struggling for form.
The Peacocks, who had an excellent first season in the Premier League, have won just one in nine so far this term.
Leeds are also struggling for goals, having found the net on just eight occasions in the PL. But they are also shipping goals for fun – conceding 16 in nine.
However, despite Leeds’ dismal form, they have the perfect chance to bounce back this weekend.
Norwich are by far and away the worst side in the Premier League this term and are currently on course to match Derby County’s embarrassing 11-point league finish.
The Canaries are dead bottom of the Premier League having won none, drawn two, lost seven, scored just two and conceded 23.
Leeds injury update ahead of Norwich
Now, ahead of the Norwich tie, a Leeds injury update has been provided by The Athletic’s Phil Hay.
Hay reports that both Junior Firpo and Raphinha are likely to be available on Sunday, but Patrick Bamford is set to miss out again:
Firpo and Raphinha are likely to be available but Bamford missing again for Norwich on Sunday. Phillips fine after his return on Tuesday.
