FPL bosses take note: Brentford provide Bryan Mbeumo update ahead of Burnley
An update on the fitness of a pair of sidelined Brentford FC stars has been forthcoming on Monday evening.
Thomas Frank’s men were of course back in action this past weekend.
On the back of an impressive opening to the campaign, which had seen them emerge as the surprise package of the English top-flight, the Bees welcomed Leicester City to west London, aiming to maintain their spot in the Premier League’s top half.
When all was said and done on Sunday afternoon, however, Brentford were ultimately condemned to a 2nd successive defeat.
Goals on the part of Youri Tielemans and James Maddison proved enough to lead Leicester to a 2-1 win, guiding Brendan Rodgers and co. clear of their hosts on the day in the PL table.

As alluded to above, though, the eventual result at the Brentford Community Stadium actually proved far from the Bees’ sole concern yesterday afternoon.
The others came on the personnel front, as a pair of the club’s key performers – in the form of Bryan Mbeumo and Ethan Pinnock – were forced off prematurely, owing to injury problems.
In turn, speaking during a press conference ahead of his side’s EFL Cup meeting with Stoke City on Wednesday, Brentford boss Thomas Frank was inevitably asked for an update on the duo earlier this evening.
And the Danish tactician went on to confirm that both Mbeumo and Pinnock are set to miss out versus Stoke, though respective comebacks could be on the cards at the weekend, when the capital outfit make the trip to Turf Moor to take on Burnley.
