Feliciano Lopez Reaches Incredible Milestone, Joins Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, and Others
With Over 25 seasons spent as a professional, Spaniard Feliciano Lopez is one of the veteran leaders of the tennis sport. Recently, he reached an exquisite milestone, joining Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, and five others.
Lopez is presently contesting on his home turf at the ATP 250 Mallorca Championships. In the pre-quarterfinals there, he overcame sixth seed Karen Khachanov, recovering a set loss to win 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.
Notably, it was the 500th ATP victory for Lopez, making him the tenth active player to achieve this feat. No doubt, the 39-year-old would be ecstatic after completing this prodigious task.

Feliciano Lopez joins the Big 4 and others in 500+ wins club
The most elite tennis club comprising Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, and Murray, has dominated the sport for two decades. Unsurprisingly, they also lead the numbers in the 500+ wins club.
On top of the list stands the 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer with a whopping 1247 wins. Following the tennis maestro, the ‘King of Clay’ Rafael Nadal takes second place with 1027 wins. Remarkably, only these two belong in the 1000+ wins club.
After FEDAL, Serbian ace Novak Djokovic holds the third seat with 961 wins while the fourth-place belongs to former World No.1 Andy Murray with 678 ATP career wins.
Besides the Big 4, Richard Gasquet (556), Fernando Verdasco (554) with Marin Cilic, Stan Wawrinka, and Tommy Robredo (all 533) are part of this club.

Conversely, Lopez also the record for most losses on the ATP Tour, 466. He even has the most consecutive Grand Slam appearances (76) label to his name.
Despite being a Spaniard, he has found the most success on grass courts due to his height and swift movements. Naturally, the next two-three weeks are priceless for Lopez.

Who will Lopez play next in Mallorca?
In the Mallorca quarterfinals, the Madrid Open tournament director will face Adrian Mannarino. The Frenchman received a walkover in his last match against Dominic Thiem after trailing at 5-2 in the first set.
Above all, the grass tournament in Spain will give Lopez a much-needed boost for Wimbledon Championships 2021. But can he better his best result at the grass major, a quarterfinalist in 2005, 2008, 2011, this year?
