An insight into the atmosphere at Tottenham Hotspur since the arrival of Nuno Espirito Santo at the club has been forthcoming on Friday.

Mou replaced/Kane wants out

The 2021/22 campaign is of course set to prove one of change on the Lilywhite half of North London.

Before last season had even come to a close, the board at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium came to the decision to shake things up on the club’s bench, culminating in the dismissal of Jose Mourinho.

In turn, on the back of weeks of speculation, negotiations and a frankly laughable public saga, Daniel Levy and co. eventually opted to appoint Nuno Espirito Santo in Mourinho’s place.

The info comes courtesy of reliable outlet The Athletic, amid a comparison between the Portuguese and fellow countryman Mourinho.

Two of the most noteworthy takeaways to have been picked up on by supporters of the Lilywhites, meanwhile, surround the impression thus far made by Nuno on Spurs’ stars.

It is noted that Spurs’ squad and board alike have been left altogether impressed by the ‘calming effect’ introduced by the club’s new manager, with the former also deriving enjoyment from improved fitness levels:

Interestingly, though, it is also pointed out that, away from the training pitch, ‘players have largely found him distant and uncommunicative’.
