Eagle-eyed Arsenal fans highlight personnel boost ahead of Leicester
The Arsenal faithful have taken to social media on Friday evening, to highlight potentially noteworthy footage taken from the club’s latest training session.
King Power clash
Mikel Arteta’s men are of course set to return to action this weekend.
After booking their spot in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup at the expense of Leeds United on Tuesday night, the Gunners will now turn their attentions back towards matters on the Premier League front.
A crunch showdown with Leicester City lies in wait on Saturday afternoon, at the King Power Stadium.
The matchup represents a key one for both sides, who, as things stand, are separated only by goal difference in the English top-flight table.
Brendan Rodgers’ hosts boast the advantage, but both Arsenal and Leicester are no doubt fully aware that a victory in less than 24 hours’ time would guide them, at least temporarily, into the thick of the battle for European football.
As such, it goes without saying that Mikel Arteta will no doubt be hopeful of having as many of his key performers as possible fit and available to feature from the off in the east Midlands.
And, if the latest footage stemming from the club’s training ground is anything to go by, then a timely personnel boost could well be on the cards for Arsenal on Saturday.
As spotted by eagle-eyed sections of the Gunners fanbase, despite Mikel Arteta having suggested otherwise, Ben White was spotted taking part in at least some aspect of training at London Colney on Friday:
Arteta: “Ben White still hasn’t resumed training”. At very least he’s doing warm up.🤨

Stopper White was hauled off prematurely in the club’s League Cup win over Leeds in midweek, after coming down with a bout of illness.
Could the summer arrival at the Emirates yet recover to feature versus Leicester, though?
