Duo to miss out vs Arsenal? N’Golo Kante & Christian Pulisic not involved in Chelsea’s open training session on Wednesday
Arsenal vs Chelsea
The marquee tie of the upcoming Premier League game week will take place on Sunday afternoon.
Said match will see Arsenal play host to capital rivals, Chelsea.
The two outfits would have contrasting starts to their 2021/22 seasons.
Chelsea have already clinched one trophy this year, beating Villarreal for the UEFA Super Cup.
The Blues then began their domestic campaign in style, putting Crystal Palace to the sword by three goals to nil.
Marcos Alonso, Christian Pulisic and Trevoh Chalobah were all on target vs the Eagles.

Arsenal, meanwhile, would fall to a disappointing 2-0 defeat vs newly promoted Brentford on Friday evening.
Kante & Pulisic miss training
Ahead of Sunday’s game, some personnel news has been forthcoming on Wednesday regarding two Chelsea players.
Chelsea would hold an open training session on Wednesday morning, but as per football.london journalist Adam Newson, N’Golo Kante, Christian Pulisic and Haim Ziyech were not involved.
N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic aren’t involved in Chelsea’s open training session. Nor is Hakim Ziyech but that isn’t a surprise.

Ziyech’s absence was not unexpected, as he suffered an injury vs Villarreal recently and Thomas Tuchel confirmed last week that the Moroccan was expected to be out for around two weeks.
The absences of Kante and Pulisic, though, were somewhat more surprising.
The Frenchman did pick up a knock in the Super Cup which ruled him out of the Palace win. But Tuchel was then hopeful earlier this week that the midfielder would be back for Arsenal. But after missing out on Wednesday, perhaps Sunday’s game will come too soon for Kante?
As for Pulisic, he would start and score for Chelsea vs Palace on Saturday and did not pick up an injury in the game.
So, his omission on Wednesday could suggest he is now injured? As there does not seem to be another reason why he would not be involved.
