Doom Eternal leads the pack of new titles coming to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium catalog this month. Starting April 18, all top-tier PS Plus subscribers will have access to Bethesda’s demonic shooter, where you’ll alternate between guns, flamethrower, wrist-mounted blade and more to devastate diabolical monsters, in a fiery and infernal landscape. Doom Eternal will be available to play on PS4 and PS5. Also included in the April catalog is the Pixar-like Kena: Bridge of Spirits, combining exploration in a cute fantasy world with fast-paced combat that lets you fend off corrupt spirits.

If card games have never been your forte, Slay the Spire might change your mind. Bringing the steep learning curve of roguelikes, the game tasks you with creating a deck of unique cards to defeat the beasts that thrive within and eventually battle your way to the top of the spire. No race is ever like the layout and enemies are constantly shuffled around, alongside relics you choose to boost your deck. Slay the Spire will be available to play on PS4.

From the House of Bethesda, we have two more entries this month – Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. In the first, you play as BJ Blazkowicz, aka Terror-Billy, a member of the Resistance sent on a mission to recruit the most daring resistance team in the Nazi-controlled United States. Armed with an arsenal and guns and guts for good measure, players can fight their way through every Nazi in sight, giving hope to the second American Revolution. Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, however, is a prequel, pitting you against hulking super soldiers, shock troops, and various nefarious Nazi war creations.
