With an all-star cast, homages to some iconic video game moments, and a release just before the Easter holiday, the Super Mario Bros. should be a smash hit at the box office.
Releasing tomorrow April 5, 2023, the adaptation follows Mario (voiced by Chris Pratt) as he teams up with the Mushroom Kingdom’s leader, Princess Peach (voiced by Anya Taylor-Joy) to stop the menacing Bowser (voiced by Jack Black) to conquer the world.
You can now get tickets for the film from AMC and Fandango in the US, and channels such as Cineworld and Odeon in the UK.

This news was confirmed by Chris Pratt during a press briefing with CBR. We haven’t seen the movie, but Dexerto has indicated that it will occur in the middle of the credits, rather than at the very end.

Will there be a sequel to the Mario movie?
Having a post-credits scene should mean the Mario movie will have a sequel or spinoff, provided it works well. However, this has yet to be officially confirmed by Universal/Nintendo.
