Diablo IV Open Beta Begins March, Blizzard Confirms: Details

Diablo IV is getting a pair of beta testing sessions next month. According to developer Blizzard, those who pre-ordered the title get early access from March 17 to March 19, which provides an in-depth look at the beginning of the game, which includes the prologue and Act 1. The following week, from March 24 as of March 26, all players can participate in the open beta period and experience the power of the Burning Hells, although the level is capped at 25. The upcoming Diablo 4 also features a cosmetic-focused battle pass system and is expected to out June 6 on PC and consoles.

The two beta periods will offer a taste of the Diablo IV campaign, as players can explore the snowy tundras of the Fractured Peaks and face off against many demons lurking in the darkness. However, since this is a beta release, better expect minor performance issues and crashes. According to IGN, any custom character you create will be featured in multiple cutscenes with an exact likeness, depending on the cosmetics and appearance you set in the character creator screen. As previously stated, Diablo 4 includes a battle pass system, covering a variety of clothing choices, tattoos, weapons, hairstyles, and emotes. However, it is divided into two parts: Free and Premium. The first is open to everyone and offers gameplay bonuses to all players, depending on the challenges you complete. The Premium version costs $10 (around Rs. 827) in in-game currency and focuses on aesthetics only. That said, Blizzard hasn’t revealed if any gameplay-unlocked currency can be used to purchase other versions of the Battle Pass.

These items can be unlocked within three months of their first appearance on the Battle Pass, after which Diablo IV begins its new season.
