Dapps Bharat Tour: 5ire Blockchain and UniFarm Expand Web3 Initiative to Delhi

Dapps Bharat Tour, an initiative of a group of crypto-related businesses, moved to Delhi on Friday, February 24, a few months after its launch in Mumbai. These companies include the 5ire blockchain as well as UniFarm, Recorum, Desi Crypto, Tick.eth, and The Product House. As part of the initiative, members of the National Capital Region (NCR) Web3 community will be able to attend workshops, Web3 sessions, blockchain games, as well as digital giveaways. Dapps Bharat Tour has also planned to hold an event in Gurugram on Saturday, February 25.

“Our goal is to establish a comprehensive Web3 infrastructure across India, including its smaller towns and villages. We strongly believe that every district in India has a pivotal role to play in elevating Web3 to new heights and positioning the ‘India as a global leader in this technology,’ said Tarusha Mittal, COO and co-founder of UniFarm and Dapps, in a prepared statement.

Several industry insiders from the Web3 space will be present at the event. These include Bibin Babu, Chief Growth Officer at 5ire Blockchain, and Mohit Madan, CEO and Co-Founder of Dapps and UniFarm, among others.

Participants seeking to brand blockchain domains could create free .5ire domains to launch or use their decentralized applications (dapps).

The Mumbai chapter of this initiative was launched in January this year with the aim of raising awareness of Web3 while providing a credible one-stop destination for potential Web3 founders and developers to engage with established industry insiders.

As India moves forward to craft crypto rules that would work globally under its G20 presidency, many crypto companies operating in the country are opening discussions around the Web3 sector.

Earlier in February, Algorand Foundation partnered with Indian School of Business, Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University Hyderabad, as well as innovation incubator T-Hub to explore growth opportunities and employment in India. The blockchain platform said it plans to launch training programs for students and developers as well as faculty development programs with its Indian partners.

The Telangana state government recently teamed up with a crypto advocacy group, the Bharat Web3 Association, to engage with the nascent Web3 community in India.

Mudrex, the global crypto investment platform, has also launched the Satoshi School initiative to raise awareness about crypto, Web3, and the entire blockchain industry.

Similar web3-centric initiatives have been launched by CoinDCX and Binance in India.
