Xavi Hernandez has transformed FC Barcelona into a cohesive unit that is capable of taking on the biggest and best teams after less than a year in the job.
Under Xavi’s guidance, Barcelona have climbed back into the top three in La Liga whilst claiming the scalps of their closest rivals this term – Real Madrid and Sevilla.
Now, Dani Alves, a former teammate of Xavi’s and now one of his players at Barca, has revealed the Spaniard’s secret to success: “Xavi’s secret is to work hard. The only thing that has changed is that he is now a coach. His point of view is the same as when he was a player. We are working very hard.”

Barcelona will now face off with Levante in a La Liga clash on Sunday evening.
After Real Madrid picked up another win on Saturday, Barca’s small hopes of making a late push for the La Liga title have gone up in smoke.
