Cubana Chief Priest Reportedly Arrested By EFCC For Money Laundering, Tax Fr@ud Charges
Popular Nigerian socialite and nightlife business executive, Pascal Okechukwu also called Cubana Chief Priest has reportedly been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on charges bordering on money laundering and tax fr@ud.
According to Peoples Gazette, Cubana Chief Priest was arrested at the Lagos airport on Thursday, but anti-graft officials hushed the development amidst pressure from his associates and family, who said the case could make conditions for others likely connected to the alleged racket complicated.
The report reveals Cubana Chief Priest is currently in police custody and his wife is the only person allowed to see him.
The report, however, did not disclose where the celebrity barman would be granted bail or the level of information officials had been able to squeeze from him as of Saturday night.
“The matter is still under investigation,” a source said anonymously. Cubana Chief Priest’s arrest came weeks after his senior colleague and friend, Obi Cubana was arrested by the anti-narcotics agency NDLEA.
Davido and Wizkid were alleged to be at loggerheads and their fans have been trading insults at each other over them but a video showing the moment the entertainers hugged each other in public refuted claims they were beefing each other.
A sneak peeks into his Instagram handle of Davido indicated that the singer who had unfollowed Wizkid some years back has followed him again on the video and sharing app.
However, we are yet to see a reciprocation by Wizkid also doing the same to solidify their reunion.
