Palace eye Edouard
Crystal Palace appear to be on the lookout for a new centre-forward this summer.
The Telegraph report that Patrick Vieira is in the market for a striker before the transfer window closes later this month.
One target being looked at is said to be Odsonne Edouard of Celtic. The Frenchman has a fine record in Scotland, scoring 85 and assisting 39 in 175 outings.
No potential fee is mentioned in the report by the Telegraph, but it does claim Celtic would stand to make a profit on the £10m they originally paid for Edouard in 2018.

Origi on the radar
Another forward seemingly being looked at by the Eagles this summer is Divock Origi.
The Belgian found regular football hard to come by in 2020/21 and was an unused sub in Liverpool’s opening weekend win over Norwich last time out.
But now, the Telegraph report that Origi is on the radar of Crystal Palace, Wolves and West Ham.
Again, no potential transfer fee is mentioned.
Palace have bid rejected for Hughes
Finally, the Eagles look to have had a bid rejected for Watford’s Will Hughes.
HITC, citing the Sun, report that Palace have seen a £5m bid rejected by Watford for the midfielder, whose contract runs out in just under 12 months.
The report also claims Palace have no intention of raising that bid either, perhaps suggesting their pursuit of Hughes is now over?
