Ronaldo’s message
The 36-year-old is now set to go into a five-day isolation period now he is in the UK and will have to test negative on the 2nd and 5th days of his isolation in order to be released.
This means that, as long as he tests negative, Ronaldo should be available to make his 2nd Man United debut vs Newcastle next weekend.
And now, with Ronaldo edging close to a return to the Premier League, the former Juventus man has sent a message to his new teammates.
Man United have not won the Premier League since Sir Alex Ferguson departed the club in 2013.
Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have guided the Red Devils to 2nd-place finishes, with Mourinho’s points total of 81 in 2017/18 United’s highest since Fergie left.
Now though, as per a Sun source, Ronaldo has told the United players that they need to win the league:
“The players are so excited about the arrival of Ronaldo.
“He has delivered a simple message to them which is ‘We need to win the league’.”
