Concern for Manchester United? Cristiano Ronaldo’s awful record against Chelsea revealed
Ahead of Manchester United’s meeting with Chelsea, Cristiano Ronaldo’s awful record against the London-based outfit has come to light.
Chelsea vs Manchester United
Manchester United are set for one of their toughest outings of the season on Sunday.
The Red Devils face a trip to west London for a meeting with current Premier League table-toppers, Chelsea.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are the top scorers, and boast the best defensive record in the division.
Man United, on the other hand, have been leaking goals at an alarming rate this term, and have been awful against England’s top sides.
The Manchester giants, of course, were smashed 5-0 by Liverpool, before also being completely dominated by Man City in a tie that could have easily ended with a much bigger scoreline than 2-0.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s record vs Chelsea revealed
Man United are clear underdogs heading into this game, despite Chelsea likely being without the services of Mateo Kovacic, Ben Chilwell and N’Golo Kante.
So, Man United will, especially as they are still yet to appoint a top coach to bring some much-needed cohesion to the squad, likely be relying on some individual brilliance to ensure they can put up some sort of fight on Sunday and avoid another serious hammering by a top PL club.
And, in Man United’s squad, there is no better player to have when it comes to stepping up on the biggest stage than Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, Ronaldo actually has a pretty awful record against Chelsea. In 15 games against Chelsea for Man United, CR7 has scored just one goal. That goal, though, did come against the Blues in the Champions League final of 2008, which United won.
Ronaldo, however, remains without a Premier League strike against Chelsea in 10 attempts.
