Churches Should Normalise Keeping Refreshments For First-Timers – Daniel Regha

Controversial Nigerian Twitter user Daniel Regha seems to have been invited to a church recently and he has shared some takeaways.

In a brief tweet, Daniel told his fans that they should inform people they invite to their churches about the duration of the service to avoid people encountering what they were never prepared for.

He added that he realizes there are no refreshments or some kind of snacks for first-timers and the church should adopt such directive to welcome those who visited their places for the very first time.

Daniel wrote;

Pls when inviting people to ur church for the first time, always tell ’em how long the service lasts so one doesn’t prepare for a brief service & end up attending crusade; Furthermore, churches should normalise keeping refreshments for first-timers. The small snacks helps a lot.

In other news, former Presidential aide Reno Omokri has made various assertions about Sunday and he believes it’s not what people have believed over the years.

The Nigerian author made it known that Sunday, which happens to be the day of rest in most parts of the world is not a special day as many think and it’s also not a holy day nor a Christian day.

In a tweet that he made available on the microblogging platform, the only day God set aside is the Sabbath Day and not the day between Saturday and Monday, Sunday.

Reno believes Sunday is like any ordinary day just like the rest of the days of the week. He wrote on the bird app;

Sunday is not a special day
Sunday is not a Christian day
Sunday is not a holy day
Christ did not go to Synagogue on Sunday
Sunday is not different from Monday-Friday
The only day that God set aside is the Sabbath Day, and it is not Sunday!
