Lukaku update
Chelsea are growing over confidence about their chances of signing Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan this summer with a bid of 100 million plus euros expected to be enough to convince the Italian side to part with their prize forward.
Having already turned down a massive offer which also included Spanish defender Marcos Alonso, Lukaku is said to not be willing to turn down the move should his team accept the offer from the Blues.
Lukaku would rejoin the Premier League having left Manchester United to make the move to Italy. He will certainly have a point to prove upon his return to the league and his former club after departing for Everton at the beginning of his career.
Latest from Di Marzio on Lukaku posted on Instagram- in the past few days he has told Inter he wants to accept Chelsea’s offer which is an upgrade financially but also a better situation to win trophies

Kounde still wanted
Despite a massive outlay set to be paid for Lukaku, the Blues are still looking at bringing in Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
The Spanish club upped their valuation of Kounde and Kurt Zouma’s future is still wrapped up in the sage.
Yet Chelsea want to add the highly rated player to their ranks as a matter of interest to improving an ageing defence.
Chelsea are preparing their new bid for Romelu Lukaku to be submitted this week. No official proposals for Erling Haaland 🔵 #CFC
Koundé deal still priority for Chelsea – but no agreement on Zouma value.
…and no agreement also for Zouma to West Ham, as of now. @JacobSteinberg

Abraham’s Italy move
With Lukaku incoming, the future of England international Tammy Abraham looks bleak in west London.
Both Arsenal and West Ham had been linked with a move for Abraham but a new variable has emerged.
Italian side Atalanta are the club in the driving seat of the deal and could look to Abraham as a long-term replacement for Duvan Zapata.
Atalanta are a Champions League side consistently now and are looking to mount their own challenge on the Serie A title next season.
Arsenal, Aston Villa and West Ham are interested in Abraham but Atalanta, unlike those other clubs, will be playing in the Champions League.
Abraham would like to play in Europe’s elite competition whilst Chelsea would prefer to sell him to a foreign club.
