Chelsea handed Tchouameni boost

Firstly, Chelsea have been seemingly handed a boost in their pursuit of Monaco midfielder Aurelian Tchouameni this summer.

The Bues are thought to be interested in strengthening in central midfield, with the 21-year-old one of their top targets.

It was thought that they would face competition from Manchester United for his signature, but transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has since clarified the situation.

And as per Romano, the Reds are not currently working on a deal for the youngster, leaving the path clear for Chelsea to swoop in.

Trio leave on loan

The Blues have managed to confirm three loan exits in the past 24 hours. Michy Batshuayi has joined Turkish outfit Besiktas, Brazilian winger Kenedy has joined Flamengo (where he will link up with Manchester United’s Andreas Pereira).

Finally, it seems as though Emerson is set to join Lyon for the upcoming season.

For Chelsea fans, they will be hoping that movement can be seen on the likes of Ross Barkley, Danny Drinkwater and Charly Musonda, all of whom were out on loan last campaign.

Zouma to depart?

Finally, Kurt Zouma could be set for a cross-Capital switch, with Tottenham rumoured to be interested in his services.

According to Christian Falk, Chelsea would agree to do business with Tottenham (A no-go normally), in order to raise funds to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla.

For Tottenham, it may be a case of last chance saloon after the news that Nikola Milenkovic has chosen to remain at Fiorentina, joining Kounde and Pau Torres in spurning the Lilywhites this summer.
