Chelsea duo miss out of Watford clash through injury as outcast handed rare start
Chelsea look to get back to winning ways
A wasteful Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening as Jorginho featured heavily.
It was the Italian’s mistake that allowed Jadon Sancho to pounce, a poor touch handing the out of form forward a clear route to goal, before he calmly rolled the ball past Edouard Mendy.
However, Jorginho redeemed himself somewhat, slotting home a penalty to level the scores after Aaron Wan Bissaka was adjudged to have fouled Thiago Silva.
It ends honours even. ⏱

The result cuts Thomas Tuchels side’s lead to just a point at the top of the Premier League table, with Manchester City breathing down their necks and Liverpool a further point behind the west Londoners.
As a result, they desperately need to get back to winning ways when they face Watford at Vicarage Road this evening.
Speaking ahead of the game, however, Tuchel revealed that all of Reece James, Jorginho and Timo Werner picked up minor knocks against the Red Devils, while N’golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic remain out.
James doesn’t even make the bench
And, in agonising news for Chelsea and FPL users globally, Reece James has not even made it onto the bench for the clash with the Hornets, while Jorginho is also not deemed fit enough to start.

With Kovacic and Kante both out, this means a rare start for Saul Niguez, the Atletico Madrid loanee, in the centre of midfield. Meanwhile, Kai Havertz is preferred to both Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner to lead the line, with Mason Mount returning from injury.
Will the Blues pick up all three points?
