Buhari’s Administration Has Improved Electricity – Bashir Ahmad Writes After Collapse Of National Grid
Bashir Ahmad, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on Digital and New Media, has responded to the National Grid shutdown.
Ahmad argued that Buhari’s administration has improved power. He claimed that the National Grid system failure was caused by a faulty transmission system left over from the previous administration.
He analyzed the current national grid collapse in Nigeria to what was once the case. He noted that Nigeria witnessed 42 grid breakdowns in 2010, and only four collapses in 2020.

Ahmad wrote: “When we’re ready to have this convo, we’ll know that the power sector has improved under this administration.
“Grid collapse is usually caused by a weak transmission system (inherited). Intensive work being done to fix that is obvious. We had 4 collapses in 2020, we recorded 42 in 2010.”
In other news, Senator Shehu Sani, a former senator from Kaduna Central, has labeled Nigeria as the African equivalent of Ukraine.
The former congressman, the national grid is on the point of collapsing, airlines are “going out of business in three days,” terrorists are on the rampage, and the ASUU strike is enough to turn Nigeria into the African version of Ukraine.
He wrote on the bird app;
National grid on the verge of collapse,Airlines companies to ‘shut down in three days’,terrorists on killing spree and then ASUU…we are just the African version of Ukraine at the moment.
