The first Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer is here – in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Marvel Studios revealed the trailer for the highly anticipated sequel during a San Diego Comic-Con 2022 panel. Ryan Coogler had written the sequel, with Chadwick Boseman starring in mind. But, after the actor died in 2020 due to colon cancer, he was forced to find a way to continue the story, while honoring Boseman’s legacy. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set to hit theaters worldwide on November 11.

The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer has a musical vibe, as we hear a singer sing a dark cover of Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry.” Following Avengers: Endgame, we’re then shown some quick footage of Wakanda’s new regime, with Ramona (Angela Bassett) as Queen of Wakanda, a rival tribe, and a house on fire. Plot details are unclear, but as Marvel has previously teased, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will explore the world and aspects of the characters that were introduced in the 2018 film.

The citizens of Wakanda appear to be at war in the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer with two factions – a neighboring tribe covered in blue paint and external armed forces infiltrating the exotic lands. Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) returns, as he teams up with War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) to forge a new path for the kingdom. We’re also treated to brief glimpses of Namor, the Submarine – played by Tenoch Huerta – who is a mutant hybrid, born to a human father and a Talocan princess.

Canonically, we were supposed to have a face-off between T’Challa and Namor. But after Boseman’s death, that MCU story stays on the sidelines — for now. Before the title card is revealed, we take a quick look at a new Black Panther costume, covered in gold lines instead of white, although there is no word that will replace the actor. The trailer also features a little blink and miss scene, where you see Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) forging her Ironheart suit and a heartwarming tribute (mural) to the late actor.

The second Black Panther movie also stars Danai Gurira as Okoye, Letitia Wright as Shuri, and Winston Duke as M’Baku. Daniel Kaluuya, who played W’Kabi in the 2018 film, will not be returning for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever due to scheduling conflicts with his Jordan Peele film Nope, which will be released in Indian cinemas on August 19.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters November 11. In India, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
