Best Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra cases for 2023

>>> DOWNLOAD MP3 <<<

The updated Galaxy S23 was just released in February, becoming the latest in a long line of great phones. But just because the Galaxy S22 series is no longer Samsung’s flagship lineup, there’s no need to worry. The S22 series are all great phone options, featuring powerful hardware and state-of-the-art screens. These state-of-the-art devices remain among the best Android phones, but that doesn’t mean the devices are impervious to drops, bumps, and scratches. It is therefore all the more crucial to protect your investment with a good deal. But with so many options available, deciding which case is right for you can be a little tricky.

>>> LET EARN DOLLARS TOGETHER <<<

Finding a case at the right price for your budget is important, and there are plenty of affordable cases out there, but there are also additional features and functions that you’ll also want to consider when looking at cases. And make sure you get the right model when buying cases – even the best S22 Ultra case will be too big for the basic S22 phone, for example. So what features should you look out for when buying protective cases that offer top-notch protection? Your phone model and how you use your phone can determine whether you want a rugged case or one with a slim and light profile.

For example, the best S22 Ultra case options may include a kickstand, which is useful since the phone is quite heavy. A slim case might be better for the smaller S22 Plus (with a 6.6-inch screen), which we like to call the middle child in the S22 lineup, as well as the standard S22 (6.1-inch), which is the most “compact” of the trio. A case with card slots or rugged protection might work best for your phone, or even a case that helps extend your battery life.

Everyone has their own opinion on what features make up the best Samsung case – and the best case for phones in general. Ultimately, the best protection depends on your unique needs. That’s why my picks come in a variety of styles, from clear to opaque, and from thinner designs to sturdier armored cases and folio wallet cases.

Note that some of the recommendations for these Galaxy S22 series cases are based on my experience of using nearly identical models with previous Galaxy smartphones, as well as iPhone. The cases below are listed at the line’s starting price, so be sure to purchase the case that matches your S22. The same goes for tempered glass for added protection – match the size to the specific model of your S22.

Without further ado, here are some of the best S22 Ultra case, Plus case, and standard case options. I regularly update this best Samsung case roundup with new picks as new contenders arrive.

Leading case maker Speck offers a selection of protective case options for the Galaxy S22, including (from left to right in the image above) the Presidio Perfect-Clear Ombre, the Presidio2 Grip and the Presidio Perfect-Clear.

All of the new models have very good drop protection (13 to 16 feet, depending on the model) as well as Speck’s Microban antimicrobial coating. Cases start at around $20 in various color options. Sometimes Speck offers first-time buyer discounts on its site.

Gear4

UK case maker Gear4, now owned by Zagg, makes cases that are there with OtterBox and Speck. They’re all lined with the company’s D3O shock-absorbing material and feature beveled edges to protect your phone. Here, from left to right, the Copenhagen (13ft drop protection), the Denali (16ft drop protection), the Milan (13ft drop protection) and the Crystal Palace (13ft drop protection). 13 foot drops). All use recycled plastic in their construction, but the Copenhagen, made from 52% plant-based materials, is technically the most eco-friendly.

Prices range from $30 to $50 for the high-end Denali, which is my probably favorite Gear4 case, although it’s currently on sale for just $10, along with several other options.

You receive price alerts for Spigen cases

If you’re looking for a cheap clear case for your new Galaxy S22, Spigen’s Ultra Hybrid is a good value, around $15-$17, depending on which version you get. I like the Ultra Hybrid S (second from left in photo), which has a built-in kickstand. The Neo Hybrid, far right, is a pretty basic case, while the Cryo Armor (second from right) is a $22 triple-layered “gaming” case designed to “absorb and dissipate heat from your phone for ages.” hours of play”.

No drop ratings are listed for these Samsung phone cases, but most Spigen cases, except for the thinnest models, offer reasonable protection. If you want a sturdy case with decent protection, get one of its Armor models.

Note that many of these cheaper clear cases have a habit of yellowing and degrading over time, making them less translucent. But they’re cheap enough that you probably don’t mind shelling out for a replacement if and when it happens.

Amazon

You receive price alerts for OtterBox Commuter Series

The company’s Defender Series super protective case is available for all Galaxy S22 models, but most people want something less bulky. I love the Symmetry Series cases – they’re slim with beveled edges, making them a good mix of sleekness and protection. That said, I like the more protective Commuter series better, thanks to the grips it has on the back and sides, as well as the raised edges on the front that should help protect your screen. The raised bezel acts as a screen protector to protect your screen from scratches and the camera module gets the same treatment.

You are receiving price alerts for Rokform S22 Rugged Case

Rokform has been making rugged smartphone cases for years, and apart from their durability, their main feature is the ability to use them with various mounts, including bicycle, car and motorcycle mounts, which are sold separately.

Rokform’s cases have removable magnets and they are compatible with wireless charging if you remove the central magnet included. “With the bottom magnet still intact, you can still charge wirelessly while using the magnetic mount and all of our mounts,” says Rokform.

Amazon

Available in a few color options, Raptic’s Shield case costs less than competing high-end cases from Speck and OtterBox and offers great value for money overall. It has 10ft drop protection, as well as antimicrobial treatment.

Samsung

You receive price alerts for Samsung Clear Standing Cover

Samsung’s Clear Standing Cover isn’t anything fancy, but it’s a transparent protective case with a built-in kickstand. You can prop your phone horizontally or vertically using the kickstand, which seems sturdy (it’s bigger than Spigen’s built-in kickstand). Alas, it is currently out of stock but we hope it will be shipped soon.

Samsung

Available in black, burgundy, and light gray, Samsung’s leather case offers a nice soft-touch feel with decent edge protection in a slim package. Alas, there’s no kickstand, but if you’re looking for a clean, sleek case, this Samsung-branded case fits the bill. It also offers decent protection for the camera lenses on the back. Personally, I like the burgundy color.

You receive price alerts for Otterbox Strada

When you have a phone with a large screen, it might be a good idea to get some extra screen protection with a folio case that also has slots for a few credit cards. Otterbox’s folio case, the Strada, is beautifully designed with a magnetic clasp. Its only downside is that it doesn’t turn into a kickstand for watching videos. It is only available in black for now.

Otterbox also makes the Strada Via folio, but I prefer this model.

You receive price alerts for Cyrill Cases

Cyrill is a sub-brand of Spigen, and like Spigen, its cases typically sell for less than $20. Cyrill doesn’t have quite the same selection for the Galaxy S22 as it does for the iPhone 13, but it does have clear protective cases with floral designs (pictured right), as well as the Brick Matte Finish case (the blue and the red case pictured), which has a soft touch finish. It has a raised frame on the back which provides extra protection for camera lenses. The corners of the case also have a raised lip.

You are receiving price alerts for ESR Kickstand Case

Especially with the two larger models of the Galaxy S22, I find having a built-in kickstand a nice feature and the ESR kickstand case is about as affordable as you get at around $20. It should move closer to $15 over time.

You receive price alerts for LifeProof Wake

The LifeProof Wake case is made from recycled ocean plastic. It’s nicely designed but I wouldn’t say it’s super tough – it’s not bottom locked and has 6ft drop protection. (Note that some cases on this list have higher drop protection ratings.)

You receive price alerts for Mous Limitless 3.0

For the Galaxy S22, UK-based Mous is bringing its Limitless 3.0 case ($60) to the Galaxy S22. It comes in several eye-catching styles, all lined with the AiroShock material which the company says offers great protection in a slim design. They seem durable and all include a lifetime warranty.

Mous’ Limitless 3.0 cases are compatible with the company’s Limitless 3.0 accessories. This includes a wallet that magnetically adheres to the back of the phone case and a few mounts, one of which is an air vent mount for your car.

It’s also worth noting that the Limitless 3.0 cases are the only ones I’ve seen that have a SIM card storage slot inside the smartphone case for international travelers who are used to trading SIM cards. You can also grab some styles on sale right now at Mous.
