PC deals 2023: what to look for
More than with most things, it’s worth making sure you know how much a given PC component or configuration is worth – retailers love to advertise discounts that aren’t as good as they look, by quoting the original RRP rather than the most recent of a product. the price. Plan the components you want – and how much they normally cost – and you can make sure you don’t get fooled by dodgy “discounts”.
The biggest discounts are for pre-built desktops and all-in-ones (think iMacs, where the computer and display are built into the same unit). If you want to build your own or upgrade your existing setup, keep an eye out for component sites.
