Berita has taken to her social media to react to the killing of one in Wits.

The man who is known as Mthokozisi Mtumba died in the early hours on Wednesday during a protest in Wits.

However, Berita decided to express her disappointment towards the killing.

The star who recently settled her university debt after 6 years shared she graduated from WSU which is called a ‘previously disadvantaged university’.

“6 years ago I graduated with a Diploma in Financial Information Systems from Walter Sisulu University (WSU). See the thing is WSU is what is called a ‘previously disadvantaged university’ a common term that refers to a cluster of universities that were created under apartheid to cater for Africans and other non white populations.”

She mentioned she never understood what all really meant and the reality is that the struggle continues year by year.

“The reality is that the struggle continues year in year out, I pray for better days for South Africa.”

Berita concluded as she sent her condolences to the family of the man who lost his life during the protest.
