Barcelona handed injury boost ahead of Espanyol
FC Barcelona have been handed a personnel boost ahead of their next outing.
Eric Garcia was signed by Barca over the summer on a free transfer from Manchester City.
The 21-year-old became an instant key player for La Blaugrana and has notched 15 league outings already this term.
However, Garcia would recently suffer a hamstring issue that has kept him out of Barcelona’s last three La Liga ties, including their 4-2 win over Atletico Madrid on Sunday afternoon.
Now though, it appears the Spanish stopper is closing in on a return to action because, as reported on Monday, Garcia was back in training with Barcelona on Monday morning, with their next outing coming against Espanyol on Sunday:

Espanyol vs Barcelona
Barcelona take on Espanyol late on February 13th, kicking off at 8 pm UK time.
Xavi Hernandez’s side head into the game looking a much-improved outfit following a positive winter window.
Vs Atletico Madrid this past weekend, new signing Adama Traore stole the show, looking a much more competent player than he had done at Wolves earlier in the season.

Dani Alves was also in great form before his needless red card which means he will now miss out vs Espanyol.
Barcelona head into the Espanyol game sat 4th in La Liga, having leapfrogged Atletico last time out.
However, with Diego Simeone’s side still hot on their heels, the Catalonian outfit can’t really afford to drop any points this weekend.
