Barcelona fans send Adama Traore message to club’s board after Eintracht draw
Barcelona’s supporters have flooded to social media on Thursday evening, to send a collective message to the club’s hierarchy over the signing of Adama Traore.
Xavi Hernandez’s men were back in action a short time ago.
Amid a stellar recent spell of form, the Blaugrana made the trip to Germany, eyeing a ninth win from 10 across all competitions in the first-leg of their Europa League quarter-final showdown with Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt.
When all was said and done, though, Barca were ultimately forced to settle for a share of the spoils.
It was hosts Eintracht who opened the evening’s scoring early in the 2nd-half, when youngster Ansgar Knauff rattled home a stunning effort from the edge of the area:
ANSGAR KNAUFF WHAT A STRIKE!!
The ball drops to the winger on the edge of the box and he absolutely blasts it into the top corner

Barca, though, carved out a decisive equaliser to take back to the Camp Nou 20 minutes later, when a typically sumptuous team move culminated in Frenkie de Jong’s pull-back being slotted home by Ferran Torres:

‘Back to Wolves asap’
As alluded to above, though, despite their side ultimately battling back to avoid what could have proven a damaging defeat, many of a Barcelona persuasion, post-match, have nevertheless made their frustrations known.
And it is one member of Xavi’s squad in particular who has been singled out for, by some distance, the most widespread criticism.
The player in question? Adama Traore.
Wide-man Traore was afforded the opportunity to impress from the off on Thursday, handed a starting berth on the right of the visitors’ front-three.
After failing to take advantage of his chance as the exchanges passed the hour mark at the Deutsche Bank Park, however, the Spaniard was hooked in favour of Ousmane Dembele, whose influence proved both instant and game-changing.
In turn, Barcelona’s supporters have not been at all shy in making their feelings clear, amid the widespread agreement that Adama’s fine form early in his 2nd stint with the club proved little more than a flash in the pan, and that the wide-man should therefore be shipped back to Wolves and the Premier League as soon as possible:
Never play Adama ever again, send him back asap

Adama Traoré’s only contribution to Barcelona so far was to give a much needed wake up call to Dembélé. He can now go back to Wolves
