Barcelona fans at Camp Nou make Ousmane Dembele feelings clear ahead of kick-off vs Atletico

The home support in attendance at Barcelona’s meeting with Atletico Madrid this afternoon were not at all shy in making their feelings with contract rebel Ousmane Dembele crystal clear ahead of kick-off.

Wide-man Dembele has of course seen his name take its place front and centre in the headlines once more over the course of the last couple of weeks.

This comes on the back of a heated public back-and-forth between club and player, which was expected to see the French international ultimately moved on in the lead-up to the winter transfer deadline.

In the end, however, ahead of the expiration of his contract at the Camp Nou this summer, Barcelona were unable to find a buyer for Dembele.

Questions, in turn, had since surrounded exactly which of the parties the Blaugrana faithful would back moving forward, with neither having exactly covered themselves in glory amid an ugly saga.

As alluded to above, though, on Sunday afternoon, such uncertainty has been firmly cleared up.

This comes with Dembele’s name, after being read out as part of the substitutes bench ahead of the club’s crunch La Liga showdown with Atletico Madrid, having been met by a widespread chorus of jeers and boos:

This was then followed by the Frenchman too being targeted amid his pre-match warm-up efforts:

Auba spotted

Another member of Xavi Hernandez’s frontline to have piqued attentions amid his warm-up on Sunday afternoon, meanwhile, was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Hitman Aubameyang of course made the move to the Catalan capital earlier this week, after agreeing to a contract termination with Arsenal.

And though he was named on the bench from the off versus Atletico, the Gabonese will no doubt be hopeful of being afforded his maiden outing in Blaugrana colours at some point in today’s action.
