Striker to depart
First up comes an update on an outgoing at Villa Park.
Wesley would join Aston Villa in 2019 from Belgium outfit, Club Brugge. The Brazilian has since had a fairly underwhelming stint in England that has seen him score just five Premier League goals.
And with Ollie Watkins and Danny Ings now on Villa’s books, there does not look to be much room for Wesley to feature.
So, it was not too surprising to see it reported that the 24-year-old is returning to Club Brugge on a season-long loan:

Douglas Luiz targeted
Next up comes two updates surrounding Aston Villa’s midfield.
Firstly, Sport Witness citing reports in Italy claim that AS Roma are interested in Douglas Luiz.
The report suggests that the Brazilian would cost around 30 million euros and would be a ‘difficult operation’.
Would Aston Villa actually part with one of their star midfielders from last season so soon in the window though?
Juventus star linked
They may do if they can bring another player in this summer. One such player being linked is Weston McKennie.
It has been reported that the 22-year-old is available for transfer after failing to convince Massimiliano Allegri.
Both Tottenham and Aston Villa are credited with an interest, with it suggested that Juventus value the midfielder at around 30-35 million euros:
