Aston Villa eyeing January move for Juventus’ Weston McKennie
McKennie linked with Premier League switch
After spending 2020/21 on loan at Juventus, the Italian giants would make a permanent move for Weston McKennie this past summer.
Juve are said to have paid around €18m to land the midfielder permanently.
Despite only signing for the club last year though, rumours spread last month that the American is not in the plans of new boss, Massimiliano Allegri.
Then, reports from Italy suggested that Tottenham wanted to sign McKennie on loan, but Juve were not interested in this:

A somewhat odd report on deadline day also claimed that Burnley had been offered the chance to sign the midfielder:

Villa eyeing McKennie
McKennie would in the end stay put in Turin for the time being. However, he is already being touted for a January move.
Aston Villa would be linked with the American at the back end of August.
And now, the Sun are reporting that Aston Villa will look at a deal for McKennie in the winter window.
They add that McKennie, who has been told he can find a new home a soon as possible, was available late in this summer window but no club would commit to a loan deal that would also include a guaranteed buy option:
