As Juventus unveil Dusan Vlahovic, eye-watering figures behind deal revealed

An insight into the head-turning economic figures behind Italian giants Juventus’ deal for Dusan Vlahovic has been provided on Friday.

The announcement which those of a Bianconeri persuasion had been patiently awaiting since the beginning of the week was of course finally forthcoming this evening.

This came in the form of official confirmation that Fiorentina sensation Vlahovic – in the midst of a campaign which has seen him hit 20 goals in just 24 appearances – had put pen to paper on a deal with the club.

The Serbian international has committed to Massimiliano Allegri’s troops through the summer of 2026, in a move widely viewed as a statement of intent on the part of the Old Lady of Italian football.

Just how much, though, will Juventus ultimately be forced to pay for Vlahovic?

Well, as alluded to above, an insight into precisely that has now been provided.

In terms of transfer fee, it is understood that Fiorentina will receive somewhere between 67 and 70 million euro in guaranteed payments over the course of the next four years. A further 8 to 10 million euro could then be added to this sum, courtesy of bonuses.

On top of that, those in a position of power at the Allianz Stadium are expected to splash out a total of 63 million euro in salary. This is made up of 7 million-per-season to Vlahovic directly, and a further 7 million-per-year in taxes to the Italian government.

And the Bianconeri’s outlay does not end there, with their latest high-profile addition’s representatives understood to have bagged a cool 15 million euro in commission.

This, in total, amounts to an outlay of around 150 million euro.

Nandez eyed/Kulu on his way?

Despite their considerable commitment en route to landing Vlahovic, however, the transfer business at Juventus appears far from complete ahead of the winter transfer window slamming shut early next week.

This comes with a series of further incomings and outgoings alike having been touted over the course of the day.

In terms of the former, the transfer team in Turin are understood to be keeping a close eye on both Cagliari dynamo Nahitan Nandez and soon-to-be out-of-contract Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria.

This comes with Rodrigo Bentancur the subject of increasingly intense interest on the part of Premier League outfit Aston Villa.

Add to this the fact that negotiations over the possibility of Dejan Kulusevski linking up with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham are well underway, and an altogether hectic 72 hours could well be in store at the Allianz Stadium in the lead up to Monday’s transfer deadline.
