Blow in potential Bellerin departure
Arsenal have been searching for a suitor for right-back Hector Bellerin for much of the summer. One of the clubs that were thought to be interested in the services of the Spaniard were Italian outfit Inter Milan, who parted ways with their full-back Achraf Hakimi for 54 million pounds.
However, it appears that the Gunners have been dealt a blow in their attempts to sell the player, with the Italian outfit now switching their attentions to PSV defender Denzel Dumfries.

As per transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the clubs are in talks over the Dutch defender, with PSV holding out for more than the 12 million euros that has been offered. However, were a deal to go through, it would prove to be another disappointment in Arsenal’s long transfer window.
Ramsdale move off
Aaron Ramsdale was thought to be set to depart Sheffield United for the Emirates Stadium this summer, with speculation having linked him with a move all summer.

Odegaard bid expected to be rebuffed
Martin Odegaard is another player that has been linked with a move to the Emirates all summer, with the Norwegian enjoying a fruitful loan spell in north London in the latter half of the 2020-21 season. He is thought to be Arsenal’s number one target in the attacking midfield position, but it remains to be seen how feasible a move is.

Now, as per Defensacentral, Real Madrid are ready to rebuff any potential offers up to 50 million euros for their midfield playmaker, with the club holding out for more. While this may well be the case initially, it is well known that Madrid are struggling for cash, with their finances having been hit hard by the pandemic.
Were Arsenal to table a serious offer, it would be a surprise to see Los Blancos reject it.
