The Arsenal faithful have taken to social media in their droves this evening, to mount fresh calls for the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion star Yves Bissouma.

Arsenal’s remaining requirement?

The Gunners have of course enjoyed a relatively fruitful window thus far.

This past Friday alone saw both Martin Odegaard and Aaron Ramsdale added to Mikel Arteta’s ranks, with the former’s arrival in particular having looked long overdue.

This took Arsenal’s total outlay across the summer to date to around £125 million, following the previous signings of Ben White, Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares.

Despite such considerable spending, though, many of a Gunners persuasion remain of the opinion that glaring holes remain in Arteta’s squad.

The first comes at right-back, amid the long-term struggles of Hector Bellerin, whilst Granit Xhaka’s new contract has not diminished calls for a new midfield partner for Thomas Partey.

‘Go get him’

And, as outlined above, those of the latter opinion have this evening taken to social media in their numbers.

This comes amid fresh calls for Arsenal to launch a bid for Brighton & Hove Albion standout Yves Bissouma.

The North Londoners were of course hotly tipped as a potential landing spot for Bissouma earlier this summer, albeit with such interest, evidently, having come to nothing.

On the back of a stellar showing in the middle of the park throughout Brighton’s 2-0 downing of Watford on Saturday, though, Arsenal’s supporters have made clear that they feel the Malian international should still be a priority for their side before the transfer window slams shut in a little over a week’s time:
