Arsenal vs Manchester City
Arsenal welcomed Manchester City to the Emirates on Saturday afternoon.
Ahead of kick-off, given Arsenal’s dismal record against the top sides of late and Man City’s superb form, a win for the Manchester outfit was widely expected.
To Arsenal’s credit, however, they actually looked the much better of the two sides for the first 50 minutes.

However, the tie turned on its head when Granit Xhaka pulled down Bernardo Siva in the Arsenal box, handing the Sky Blues a penalty, which Riyad Mahrez scored.

Shortly after the penalty, Gabriel was sent off for Arsenal after picking up a pretty silly second yellow card when he bodychecked Gabriel Jesus in the middle of the pitch.
After the Brazilian’s sending off, it has been revealed that Arsenal have set an unwanted record.
