Arsenal injury issues mount as starlet forced off with injury in international break
England U21s take on Georgia
England U21s are currently locked in action with the Georgia U21s, minus the regular pair of Conor Gallagher and Emile Smith Rowe, both of whom were called up to the senior set-up.
And the Young Lions fell behind early, thanks to a goal from forward Giorgi Guliashvili, who volleyed the hosts ahead.

The game is relatively meaningless, an international friendly rather than a competitive fixture, but having been unbeaten in their Euro qualifying campaign to date, they will be wanting to keep their momentum moving in the right direction.
At the moment, this isn’t looking like it will happen.
Flo Balogun forced off in the first half
There was more bad news for England fans too, with promising Arsenal forward Folarin Balogun forced off just after half an hour of the game being played, and having to be replaced with former Arsenal man Sam Greenwood.
The #YoungLions have been forced into an early change as @balogun can’t continue and is replaced by @Sam_greenwood9.

It is as yet unknown either the type or severity of the injury to the young gun, but it spells bad news should it prove in any way serious, with the January window fast approaching. It also represents a double blow, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a potential injury doubt for the weekend’s game too after being left out of Gabon’s second game, against Egypt.
This could well leave just Alexandre Lacazette and wantaway Eddie Nketiah as the only options for Mikel Arteta to call upon in his toughest assignment since September, a trip to Liverpool and Anfield, on Saturday night.
