
Apple is rolling out iOS 16.4 with notifications for web apps, voice call isolation and 21 new emoji

Apple released iOS 16.4 and brings several minor updates to the mobile operating system. The big new thing here is the ability to receive notifications about web apps from Safari. These notifications also include a number of badges on the home screen and they are also configurable with Focus mode.

Apple has also added Voice Isolation for cell calls, which should provide better ambient noise reduction. The feature was previously available on FaceTime and other third-party VoIP calling apps.
There are a total of 21 new emoji symbols with the new iOS version, including hand gestures, a pink heart, jellyfish, and a Wi-Fi symbol. and duplicate videos in iCloud Share Photo Libraries.
New emojis in iOS 16.4
Apple Books in iOS 16.4 brings back the page-turning animation that was previously removed in iOS 16. There’s built-in support for the Sony PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge controller as well as collision detection improvements on the iPhone 14 series .
iOS 16.4 can be installed on iPhone 8 and later from today.

- Fixes an issue where purchase requisition requests from children may not appear on the parent’s device
- Addresses issues where Matter-enabled thermostats may become unresponsive when paired to Apple Home
- Collision detection optimizations on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models
