Amid claims of Barcelona talks, Man United fans won’t be happy with Mino Raiola’s latest Paul Pogba comments
Notorious super agent Mino Raiola has, on Friday, spoken out over the future of client Paul Pogba, with his comments unlikely to go down all too well with the Manchester United faithful.
Pogba’s uncertain future
The subject of Pogba’s Old Trafford future has of course come back to the fore in a major way of late.
This comes with the French midfielder’s current terms in Manchester due to come to an end in less than a year’s time.
In turn, with Pogba fresh off the back of a scintillating start to the new campaign – which has seen him make history with a whopping seven assists across four Premier League appearances – it should come as little surprise to hear that those in a position of power at the Theatre of Dreams are now pushing their midfield enigma to commit his future to the club.
An update on the situation earlier this week, meanwhile, pointed towards progress being made towards precisely that.
On the back of United’s downing of Newcastle, it was revealed that Pogba was ‘leaning towards’ penning a new deal with the Red Devils, having been boosted by the return of Cristiano Ronaldo:

‘There’s a chance…’
It will therefore no doubt come as a blow to the United faithful to hear, just days later, of Mino Raiola throwing his client’s future at Old Trafford completely back up in the air.
Speaking in an interview with Italian outlet Rai Sport on Friday, super agent Raiola was drawn on the subject of Pogba’s situation in Manchester, and whether a surprise return to former club Juventus could yet develop next summer.
And the Frenchman’s representative point blank refused to rule out the possibility, going as far as to admit that ‘there is a chance’ of a Bianconeri reunion:
Mino Raiola to Rai Sport: “Paul Pogba is out of contract in June, so we’ll talk with Man Utd and we’ll see what happens. Juventus? Paul still loves Turin. There’s a chance that Pogba will return to Juventus, yes – but it also depends on Juventus plans”. 🔴 @CorSport #MUFC #Juve pic.twitter.com/dQvi8ckDGY

Coincidentally, Raiola’s latest round of comments on Pogba’s future come on the same day that another of European football’s heavyweights have been tipped as a potential landing spot for the midfielder.
The outfit in question? Barcelona.
As per a report from Spanish outlet Sport (citing Fichajes.net), despite the club’s delicate financial situation, Blaugrana president Joan Laporta recently made contact with Raiola, to confirm his interest in taking the United star to Catalunya next summer:
