Amazon has launched the next generation of its popular Kindle e-reader in India. The all-new Kindle features a 6-inch display with 300ppi resolution, a USB Type-C port for charging, and up to six weeks of battery life. The latest eReader comes with 16GB of built-in storage. Amazon says it’s their lightest and most compact Kindle to date and is best suited for comfortable one-handed reading. It’s also the last Kindle model to drop the Micro-USB port.

The company’s latest e-book reader brings storage and charging improvements, according to the company. It has 16 GB of storage, twice as much as the 10e generation Amazon Kindle launched in 2019.

Amazon’s Latest Kindle (11e Gen) is priced at Rs 9,999 in India. However, the company says it is currently available at an introductory price of Rs 8,999 as part of a limited time offer subject to stocks. After the offer period, the eReader will be sold at retail price.

The device will be sold in two color variants – black and denim. The all-new Kindle is now available through Amazon.

Amazon’s latest Kindle comes with a 6-inch 300ppi display, with adjustable front lighting and dark mode features. According to Amazon, the anti-glare screen has three times the pixels of the previous generation eReader.

The all-new Kindle has 16GB of built-in storage compared to the previous generation’s 8GB storage option. Amazon claims the e-book reader offers up to six weeks of battery life. The new Kindle also sports a USB-C charging port, which is an upgrade over the 10e generation Kindle model.
