Ajax interested in signing Manchester United outcast in January swoop
Manchester United get off to winning start under Ralf Rangnick
It was not pretty.
It was not comprehensive. But Manchester United did get Ralf Rangnick’s managerial reign off to a winning start thanks to a goal from midfielder Fred in the last 20 minutes of the game.

Despite the thought that wholesale changes might have been made under new management, it was an unchanged lineup that was named, which could hand further incentive for those who were already contemplating a move away from the club.
Dean Henderson on Ajax’s radar
Now, as per The Manchester Evening News, reserve goalkeeper Dean Henderson is on Ajax’s wishlist.

This comes as they appear set to lose first-choice goalkeeper Andre Onana, with the Cameroonian out of contract in the summer, and on the verge of joining Italian champions Inter Milan.

It remains to be seen how Henderson would fit into the current Ajax side, with Onana having just returned from a doping ban. However, should he make the move to Amsterdam, he would be able to play in the latter stages of the Champions League, and earn invaluable experience in the process.
Should it be a move that Manchester United pursue?
