After failed January swoop, update provided on Liverpool’s Fabio Carvalho pursuit
A fresh insight into the efforts of Premier League giants Liverpool to clinch the signature of Fulham talent Fabio Carvalho has been forthcoming on Thursday.
The name of teenage sensation Carvalho of course took its place front and centre in the headlines late in the January transfer window.
This came amid the efforts of the aforementioned Liverpool to land the English youth international, before immediately sending him back on loan to Craven Cottage for the remainder of the campaign.
And, at one point late on deadline day, it appeared as though the Reds had managed precisely that.
In a blow for Jurgen Klopp and co., however, it was later revealed that a deal between the respective boards in west London and Merseyside had in fact fallen through, owing to the required paperwork not being submitted in time:

But, as alluded to above, on Monday afternoon, a fresh update on the situation has been forthcoming.
And the news is of an altogether positive nature, for Klopp, Liverpool and Carvalho alike.
As per the reliable Paul Joyce of The Times, the expectation remains that those in a position of power at Anfield will ‘resurrect’ their winter efforts to land Carvalho come the summer.
Not only that, but it is suggested that no reason exists for why such a move, this time around, ‘won’t go through’:

Amid Fulham’s push for a swift return to the Premier League, which currently looks very much on track, the club’s gifted midfield talent, despite his tender years, has appeared in 29 outings across all competitions.
Not only that, but across these appearances, Carvalho has racked up a head-turning eight goals and six assists.
