A sneaky ‘snack scarf’ makes it easier to smuggle food during the holiday season

Maybe someone in Hefty’s new products division gobbled down too much fortified eggnog, because that’s a crazy idea. The trash bag maker has created the Snack Scarf, which hides a secret pocket lined with a heavy plastic bag and is for those who just need to get treats out of a holiday party.

The Scarf is available in pint and gallon versions, priced at just $2.78 (the same price as a box of Hefty Slider Storage Bags), and even comes with a box of bags. No wonder at press time the scarves were listed as sold out. Hefty did not immediately respond to a request for comment on whether the scarves will be restocked.

I’m not sure I’d be the one packing barbecue sauce-coated meatballs in a scarf pocket, but between the face masks, winter-necessary tissues, and even cell phones, that doesn’t bother me. wouldn’t mind a nice big pocket sewn into my winter scarf. Hoping they make another batch.
