21 new emojis are coming soon to WhatsApp

Whatsapp users can soon look forward to 21 new emojis to send to friends and family. That’s according to WABetainfo, a website that specializes in researching new features in the messaging app.
Unicode 15.0
The new emojis are part of what’s called Unicode 15, a standard set of characters (nearly 150,000 in total) that includes the fun icons you see when you go to choose an emoji. There are 21 new emoji in this release including a goose, hyacinth, jellyfish, donkey, and pink heart, which you can see below.
You can find the new emojis in Whatsapp Beta for Android 2.23.5.13. They were actually in version 2.23.5.12, but were not visible in the standard keyboard. You can access it through alternative keyboards. This caused some confusion: users could receive new emojis from users who were using a different keyboard, but not send them themselves if they were using the standard Whatsapp keyboard.

New emojis only for Android… for now
In WhatsApp Beta for Android 2.23.5.13, new emojis are now displayed on the standard WhatsApp keyboard, so you can send and receive them more easily.
As this is a beta version, only people registered to receive these versions on their Android phones will see the new emojis. However, it won’t be long before they are available to all WhatsApp users of publicly available apps, including the iPhone.
