2022 CAFWCL: We Will Give Our Best Against Sundowns — Bayelsa Queens Boss, Okara

Bayelsa Queens head coach Doma Okaro says his team is well prepared for their opening game against Mamelodi Sundowns at the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League.

The Prosperity Girls will take on the holders at the Stade de Grande Marrakech on Monday (today).

The Nigerian champions qualified for the competition after winning the WAFU B Championship early this year.

Okaro’s side defeated a local side in Morocco 11-0 in a friendly last week.

Having supervised his team’s training for the past one in Morocco, Okaro is confident his side will put up a good fight against the South Africans.

“We have worked hard to get here and we’ve prepared and trained well coming into this tournament,” Okara told CAFonline.

“We’ve also watched some clips of Mamelodi Sundowns. We respect them as defending champions and we are going to give our best.”
